Is this a for real debate?

Dry and crumbly is what grandma made.

I had the opposite story. I was engaged to my wife and was cooking dinner for her and her parents. Her dad asked for cornbread (he ate this at nearly every meal, even had his own "personal" sized cast iron pan just for this). I made him what I now know is called Jiffy Bread. That's what I grew up on as cornbread. I had no idea anything else existed. He politely told me that Jiffy bread is corn "cake", not corn bread. He also like the dry as hell choke your ass cornbread.

So to throw a wrench in this discussion. None of you must have spent any time in Kansas. It is chili and cinnamon buns

I cant say Im made about it. Not really a taste profile i put together, but am game for trying it. Unless they use some BS chili like Cinci.

Do we need to start a list?

Dry cornbread
Doesn't watch movies
Old as hell
....
Fights age with LEDs

Oh wait... that's someone else.

My grandmother's cornbread and biscuits were the best. The cornbread was fried but not dry. My dad buys frozen biscuits that he swears are 'like hers' but they are dry like hard tack.
