Been working graveyards for a week now. We've been getting the best of the best at night. Currently 4° with a real feel of -15°. KMA.

Heck it's still 16 here. Feeling toasty. Woodstove has the house at about 73 and have the fireplace in the living room turned on for good measure. Just finished up Christmas with the inlaws.

I love this weather. Worked outside all afternoon, never broke a sweat. Muddy yard finally froze, today was a good day. I honestly hate we only have a few cold days like this each winter.

21 here feels like 8. Can’t remember when SC got this kind of weather in December! My old ass came in. Step son and friends are outside by the burn barrel. Hopefully burning those branches that fell today.

Power has been out since about 445 yesterday afternoon. Shitty fuel in the generator means I’m up and headed to the store to get some propane heaters.

Put a heat lamp in the well house and the damn thing still froze up solid.

Still none for me. It's 7° currently here. Very afraid the traps in the crawlspace are toast. Both sets of gas logs going so we're not freezing but not looking good . Guess we will find out when we get power or it gets above freezing what all I've lost

Weather say 9 deg. Here with a wind chill in the -10deg range.

We lost power and internet a couple times yesterday, hopefully all the wind has sorted out the weak and dead trees and we are done for a few days.

Rolling around with Christmas cookies to give any lineman we see working in this awful weather.

Very fortunate to have a wood stove and a stocked woodbox on the porch.

7 degrees here this morning and woke up with no power. Gas logs are on, so not freezing. Gonna give it a couple hours and then bundle up and get generator fired up. This will get me heat in the pump house, water, lights.
