There is yet one more of us in the hospital now here in Raleigh. My wife, Xenia/ZJMom, was admitted Tuesday and of course they still don't know what is going on. It will likely be linked to everything else she has had going on over the last few years. Had some procedures happening today so hopefully they can come up with a treatment.

I think we need better H2O filters or something.

What I can gather from the internets. Pick one.

Cosmic fluff./Galactic Alignment/Radiation
Fukushima
Sun -CME's etc. (caused by fluff)
GMOs
Gulf Oil Spill/Corexit
Fracking. Not only causing earthquakes, but the chemicals being questionable to health.
All/some of the above, in some shape or form equaling teotwawki.

I guess I'm lucky only one ER visit in the last 3 months and a trip for Chemo for 5 hrs once a week. Just got back from Chemo #9, forgot to add the 10 trips for radiation treatments at once week too. Radiation is done for now but the Chemo goes on.

dog Len,sorry to hear this...I'll call ya tomorrow bud.Tell her we here at the Jones plantation are wishing her a speedy recovery.

Wish the best to your gal Len, and she is tough as nails.
Paul...

Thanks everyone. She may get to come home this weekend. After almost three days of testing and procedures to figure out what was going on they have a treatment plan. They implemented it last night but it will be 24-48 hours to know if it will do the trick and get her out of there.

Still might invest in better water filters...o_O

Sorry to hear that. We were wondering why you hadn't been by to pick up the ZJ......Hope everything works out okay.

Thanks.
I'll be by later today to get it, I've been running the school while she has been out and that pretty much dominates all my time.

Thanks guys.

Update:

She's still there. Looking at another surgery, maybe sooner rather than later. Anyone know when the frequent surgery discount kicks in, or is it get 6 and the seventh is free?
New meds seem to be helping with some of the symptoms but she started a fever today, probably picked up a bug waiting in the ER waiting room 3.5 hours. Won't know much else until the doc sees her tomorrow.

Thanks Brandon

Update:

Still there...Did more scans last night, may have immediate surgery depending on outcome but won't know till doc shows up later this morning. Will have surgery within next 4-6 weeks if not now.

Hve they figured out whats wrong?
Yeah,
She has an intestinal infection which they say will take about three or so weeks to get over, then she gets to have yet another surgery to deal with a couple other issues. They just started trying to balance her oral meds to send her home tonight or tomorrow.

well damn. good luck with the procedures and beating the infections. As inconvenient as my issues are its just that...a mere incovenience. Im so glad i dont have to deal with the complications you guys do. Xenia is lucky to have someone like you to help her through everything.

Thanks guys.

She will be coming home tonight. They still can't manage her pain level with oral medications but hopefully that will improve as the infection diminishes. They aren't going to do anything else for her until the infection is gone so she will continue to convalesce at home for now.
