We don't really know what's happening there, all we know is what the media and government wants us to believe.

What we do know is sadly lots of people will die.

I don't think we should he there. This is their problem, they need to handle it.

While I think we all agree it would be great if they could handle it, the problem is, they can't. They aren't. It's been just going on and on and on. And in the meanwhile it's breeding more hatred for us for not doing anything. And that is a problem b/c people who are pissed off and disenfranchised don't stay put, they eventually find a way into your (our) backdoor. Sometimes there's an unfortunate point where you have to yank or spray the weeds before they spread everywhere.
The big question is how Russia will react. At least it's nice to see some standing up to them.

Couldn't agree more. That's the problem with them Goverments. They govern. We got it right. Just after to many years our Government lost the ruberic and has tried to rewrite, ignore, or push its own program. "We the People" have forgotten the We part as well.

Wait edit: most misunderstood statement.
"THE PURSUIT OF".......the whole verb thing in front of the most basic and important rights. That's the most messed up part.

We already tried staying out or retreating from unstable countries in the Middle East. The terrorists move in take control and take over assests (oil). I would rather fight them there instead of here in New York

To be fair, they could come in and take over New York City without us losing much. But then I want them to fight their way out of the rest of New York state. Good luck with that.
