Woke up to my Wrangler gone.
Be on the lookout, it's a black 2000 Sahara, hardtop, stock wheels, no lift, big LED lightbar on windshield.
Also very noticeable frame rot just in front of rear axle.

Has 82 Airborne license plate number 2269.

Taken from Southpoint area of Durham sometime Sunday night.

Well....what's the story?

No story, and i haven't had a drink in a week at least. i got home from work tonight, 10 min later some dude knocks on my door and wants to know why my jeep is blocking his mailbox. It's been a roller coaster of a day.

More than likely just some kids went out for a joyride.

After being broke into last Summer in Durham, I am now alerted by phone App to what triggered either my West direction driveway cam, East direction driveway cam, front door cam or back door cam. My system was professionally set up on it's own IP address after my dude insisted no one can interfere (tap in) from outside?? And the system is locked up in my pump house in a controlled environment with a steel enforced door and no windows, etc. to be able to get into without the keys or some sort of explosive device(s). And my motion lights I installed at the front and back door is on very sensitive mode.

And I've seen how it unfolds with all the "self security busts" lately on the news...

1. The thief (thieves) realize they are on camera.
2. They start pulling cameras and wires only to find he just spent 30+ minutes trying to evade the system where as.
3. The important data is locked away...

Not much for my vehicles, but I now have solid oak front and rear doors with heavy duty steel jams tied into the walls very well! And I'll be able to determine the next person that tries that shit again will have a permanent limp...

And also to mention, we are poor like everybody else we know and the thieves only got away with nothing but a small jewelry box of fake gold and a 32" flat screen with the cable jack still attached to the cable where I had a HECK of a time with pliers trying to attach it.:flipoff2:

Now I just hope I don't ever loose my house keys...:shaking:

But glad it was found! Vehicles are hard to secure... There again, being reason I drive pieces of shit.

Durham...

They took NOTHING. I don't get it. money in the ash tray, box of ammo and a gerber in the glove box, visa gift card in cupholder. they left it all. Didn't even burn off much gas.

no joke, we had a car stolen in one neighborhood, driven across the street and parked in front of someone's driveway. Not the first time it's happened.
