ECORS is looking for some help!

We are in need for a couple PAID positions. These positions will involve being at the gate all day on Friday and all day on Saturday! Also, we'll need some help with T-shirt sales!

Duties:
Collect $$$ from spectators, campers, racers, etc. coming in through the gate. Most people are OK, but some are asses, so you should be able to handle them appropriateley.
Direct spectators to correct parking areas
Pass out ECORS and sponsor info to spectators
Since they are collecting $$$, should be able to count and give change, really.
Should be able to make reasonable decisions when the time comes. If its too difficult, you'll be able to radio Ron or Rob.
Must be OK with being bored and on your feet at times or be good at entertaining yourself (and others!).
Must be responsible and have references. If you are going to handle $, we really need to know you won't leave post and take off on a shopping spree!!! :lol:
Pay is negotiable, depending on how qualified you are. However, keep in mind, its not a difficult or stressful job, so $20/hr is not in the budget :)
Time we need someone: Friday, August 24, from 9am until about 8pm and Saturday from 8am until about 5pm. Hours are flexible, somewhat.

For shirt and swag sales, its pretty simple. Hang out by the gate with shirts, stickers, hats, koozies, etc. and sell, sell, sell!
Keep inventory of each item sold (size, color, and shirt design)
Keep record of shirt color, size, or design requests for future use
Sell sponsor items (swag, etc.) and keep seperate as requested
Be nice and courteous even if customers are asses!
We'll offer a base rate with options for more if sales are good! That means, work harder and sell more, get paid more! :D
Time we need someone: Friday, August 24 from 9am until about 8pm, then Saturday from about 10am until about 8pm. Hours are flexible depending on how busy it is.

Building Maintenance Experience:

EDIT: That being said, if anyone in the Triangle area is hiring a design engineer with over 10 years of experience (not all SolidWorks, but a lot of it) please let me know. I gotta get out of this place.
 
We are looking for a mechanically inclined individual in the Raleigh area. We repair meat department and cooking equipment for several large grocery chain stores. Need to be able to read electrical wiring diagrams and have basic electric, gas, plumbing, and mechanical skills. Oh...and dont mind going home smelling like chicken grease once in a while! LOL! You talking full time or could it be done as a side job?
 
I'm your guy. I'm a certified welder with 4 years exp. Have 5 years electrical experience and 3 years certified training from NCCER for electrical trades. I have been working for a contractor in belmont for the last 2.5 years doinf mechanical/plumbing. I live in gastonia and have all my own tools and reliable transportation. 704-six five four-8806

I have a client that has invested into some equipment and he is concentrating on his core business now and so there is an opportunity for someone that wants to run their own business!!

The first equipment item is a 2001 Ford E250 van that is loaded with a carpet cleaning business. From what I understand it has everything you would need to get started.

The second item is ONLY for someone in the PEST CONTROL business (licensed) - it is a bedbug remediation machine that is used to wipe out the infestation with HEAT instead of via chemicals. Very "eco-friendly" BUT the Dept. of Agriculture INSISTS that you must have your Pest Control license to run this type of business.

my boss told me we will be looking for a full time hvac service tech with plenty of knowledge and experience, he used to teach the class at the local community college, so he knows what to look for, must be able to pass the pee pee test and background, if interested pm me

Has Vet Tech Certifications, Waitressing experience, and does basic repairs on her jeep.

Shes looking for a job, really she would like to do something in automotive, she wants to learn more, and loves talking to people.
