Still need the Buyer/Procurement specialist. All other roles have been filled.

I'll also note, if anyone is laid off or having difficulty finding work...I have about 50-75 temps on site on a daily basis. The end goal is always to convert these folks to full time hires, usually after 520hrs. My primary staffing services are Onin, Decision Path and Aerotek. Shoot me a PM with a name/number if they need a paycheck and I'll work on getting them on the daily roster. It's shitty $10-13/hr line/packout work, some of it may be 2nd shift, but it is a check. They also need to be prepared to work, I have no problems cutting someone after 3 days if they can't listen or show effort.

Last I knew of, VFD's did not need a CDL, to operate a fire truck. Maybe it's changed, or station requirement.
If they are getting paid they do. Volunteers no

With the school year coming to an end. I'm thinking about picking up a summer time job so I'm not just sitting at home all day. Does anyone know of places in the Concord Charlotte area that hires temporary people for durring the summer?

Right now I'm a science teacher but I have experience in construction and I'm somewhat mechanically inclined. Also have a degree in wildlife biology.

Any leads would be appreciated.

Article in the local newspaper today....

City of Sanford fire department is adding 9 new full time positions to meet growth (new subdivisions and industry expanding the city limits).

Rumor is more to come, will probably be adding a new station (three now in the city) with full staffing in the next couple of years.

Looking to hire a part time worker to help with the installation of epoxy coatings in the Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill and surrounding Triangle area.

No experience needed - must be physically fit to work on feet throughout the day (standing, kneeling, bending and the ability to lift/carry ~50lbs).

You must have your own transportation, jobs are generally within 45mins of Hillsborough, willing to compensate for travel for jobs beyond that. Reliability is the #1 factor!!

Ability to follow instructions and then perform tasks with minimal supervision.

Hours will range depending on season, busy season typically runs from Spring thru Fall. Flexible scheduling of workdays possible. Expected hours range ~16-24/week, generally begin work first thing in the morning and wrap up by early afternoon. Currently running ~ 2 jobs a week with each job consisting of 2 days at 4-6hrs each day (depending on size of job).

Positive attitude and good work ethic are key as you'll be working in a 2 person team environment. Effective communication important.

$15/hr to start but able to go to $20/hr once you're proven reliable and capable.

Any questions or for more information please contact me.

Bumping the batcher/compounder/chemical mixer roles up to $22/hr, if that makes a difference to anyone.

Can I do the job remotely? Would be decent side income to complement my real job.

Depends...how long are your arms??? That’s all I really need to be here.
Longer than my e-penis, but that's not sayin' much!

Get a Robot / AI. With all they do today, they should be able to Batch!

Still need a technician available in the event of a mechanical or formula stability failure, pre-weigh chemicals and dump in a hopper/tote. Only real benefit is timing and precision of chemical release. With our product mix, we’ll use upward of 250 different chemicals in a tank in a given week...so with cleaning regimens, the timing/precision benefit would be negligible with the lack of campaigns. Some day, when I have a dedicated batch suite to one SKU, doing $50mil/yr, sure...until then though...

Makes me think of when I worked for Concrete Supply; [major company] they had /have, their own lab, & test techs. Their formulas were stronger & most times Superior to the States mixes. But, if you haul concrete to a State or Federal job, It Had to be Their mix!

Anyone still hunting a Job, or part time? [excuse my editing on useless info]

Honestly, if I lived closer I'd probably look into this. But that's a long haul from Fayetteville.

Needs to understand quality expectations of the projects and verify conformance. Needs to be able to verify progress and report to site team for schedule updating and progress billing. Work with site team to support additional needs.

Experience with federal/military base construction projects a plus
Current need requires experience with civil/paving/concrete work but will develop into building renovations as more projects kick off.
Level I or II NCDOT E&SC Certification or ability to obtain
Need to be willing to work in Havelock, NC

This is not an entry level position but there is some flexibility in needed experience for the right person and ability to learn.

Good pay (potential for $80k+ for right person)
Good benefits (paid holidays, vacation, sick leave, insurance, etc)
Good working hours (typically M-F, 7-5 +/- depending on work and an occasional weekend)
Opportunity for advancement
