[Jun 6, 2014] Benefit ride and Fun day, for James Davis (Marion NC)

Not to mention some absolutely awesome trophies! Compliments of MUDPRO!

Makes me wish (even more than usual) that my rig was operational. One if them trophies would look :huggy: in my shop!

Oh well, there will be so much for spectators that it may take a day or two to wind down from the adrenaline!!!

Rock Corps 4X4 had a workday today.
Hill re-groomed for the races,
Fields cut, mowed
games area laid out,
RC course cleaned up and weed eated,
looks great up there!

Getting read for a big day for Mr. Davis next Saturday

less than a week away folks! I hope most of you on here can come to the event to raise some money for Mr. Davis. This is what the wheelin' community is all about people. Going to be a great time for all from awesome food, games, live entertainment in more ways than one, and not to forget the best wheelin' in the state!!

Samuel's Power Wheels Car is almost ready.

Just a note.
Mr Davis AND his family will be there. Myself, and Chris Ellis in his Grand Cherokee will be ushering them around most of the day. Feel free to shake their hands and give them all the encouragement for the upcoming situation. They will be easy to recognize, as they will be the only folks there wearing White Rock Corps T-shirts!

Still have Barbie race rigs available. Who wants one? May or may not have motor off, so, a few screws and they will fly!
Read te rules, and be read to be famous on YouTube!
Rules? For barbie jeep race? I thought the rules were first one down the hill wins! I would love to read the rule book though, is it written on the back of a stamp?

Y'all come HUNGRY !!!!, we are going to put out a spread !!! BBQ pork, burgers, dogs, and home made desserts

We rolled in today for the first time. The Flats were a lot of fun! The trails were good but the games were even better. Gotta give a lot of props to the staff. It was well organized. They were not only courteous and helpful, but they were also encouraging! Even better is it's for such a great cause. Best of luck to our guy!!!

And the food....well....the BBQ was off the hook. What more can be said about that?

Thanks again everyone!

I only got a few pics from today. Start up after the only roll we had on the barrel race. You were flat getting it. Dude you had plenty of zeal and it was a great show! Thanks for participating.

Hey I did some googling and found this thread. I happened to be in the area on business yesterday and visited Marion and Mt. Mitchell today and came across your event. I was really impressed, seemed to be well run and everyone was having a blast. My kid is into trucks and I have been considering getting back into off roading after many years. Anyway... some of you may have seen me, I was the photographer. I had to run since this was an un-planned visit that ended up being more like a 3-4 hr stop. I put some images up on Face Book and a link on the group's FB page. I'll try to get a few more on line in the next day or two so keep an eye out! If someone can contact me about the donation page I would appreciate it, I'd like to help out. rich@visuallyrich.com

Thanks again everyone!

We take that as a huge complement, we love cooking, grilling, and wheelin (not really in that order), we'd love to do it again. We had a blast, a Huge Thank You to all of the supporters for the food donations, and to all of the Carolina Wheelers for the effort.
