The event was great I had the honor of riding James's wife kitty and daughter Jasmine around for most of the day they were a lot of fun and I never heard a single squeal on the trail lol.
Thanks to all that made this happen and donated their time or goods to the cause.

We showed up late Sat afternoon with a busted jeep on the trailer and thanks to Kyle and Greg got it fixed and rolling again. Thanks for the help guys.

OK, No secret, I am tired. My family with Rock Corps 4X4 are tired, and I am sure, many of those who came to the benefit, are tired too! But, I will tell ya, It is a good tired! James and his wife Kitty, and their two kids, James Jr, and Jasmine, all had a great time. They all said so, and they al showed it on their faces! My brothers and sisters of Rock Corps 4X4 made certain that they got to where they needed to be, Made sure they could see what needed to be seen, put them in the shade of an EX up, made sure they were fed, and hydrated. I can honestly say, no one has ever received a better VIP treatment than these folks did! For that, I thank you all.
In giving thanks, I am sure I will miss someone, but I am gonna try, but if I miss someone, please let me know and I will certainly add you.
All of my brothers and sisters who volunteered their time, their resources and their efforts, I applaud you. A group that doesn't let anyone down. To The Carolina Wheelers, you really know how to put on the feed bag. Many eat, and many more could have. It was an awesome spread. MetalWerxs and MudPro, certainly provided the best plaques and trophies to date! And to MetalWerxs, thanks also for the Winch you provided. 4WheelParts of Charlotte and of Raleigh, your contributions of your time and resources were awesome. Shawn, Jody, Paul and Tony, thanks for your sponsoring of the races! To the winners of all the races, and I do mean all!, Not one of you accepted the cash prize, not even the tall standing 13 yr old Samuel Craig, who won the Barbie Jeep race, who with a smile handed back the $140 he won, to be given back to the benefit. You all absolutely ROCK! Conway, who donated the generators so we could have power at the food court, and for the bands, thanks so much! Brad Barns, who sent us $300 in gift Certificates, Frankie Manny for bringing the trailers donated by McDowell Recycling, Cris Coley, Eric Murphy, Mike Carr Rodney, David Gurley and JonBoy for supplying the material and labor for fixing the holes in the trailers, Minton's automotive for his cash donation, Buckeye Performance for the TJ bumper, sure wished we would have had several of those, many folks wanted one! Krazy Krawlers for the wheels, PJ, for the LS computer box, Scott Hooper for the leveling kit, and the shocks, Paul Poplin for the lift kit, Connie Greppi for the rings, Chris Willis for the parts, Burnis for the roll around tool cart, Shawn for the Disk brake kit, Dave's off road for the dimple dies, and Andy and Rhonda and Waynesville Chevrolet for all of the batteries, lights, and strap. Brad Ballard for the Toolbox and other contribution. Tatum Simmons, for bringing the awesome hand carved walking sticks, canes and the fishing net, and not to forget organizing the baked goods too. And for the many folks to were so nice to pick up donated Powerwheels for all over, thanks so much. Every racer in the Barbie Jeep race, drove, a donated Barbie Jeep. Ryan Adams for the contribution of the Megaphone PA. The many businesses that donated or discounted items for the food. David Minton for bringing the balance beam up, and I hate it caused you to mess up your back. David and Keith for supplying the mobile RTI ramp, Mike Southerland for organizing all the games. Rodney for bringing all of the club wares, storing them, and taking them back home. For all the dust eaters that made the race go on with no hiccups! . Thanks to City Rhythm band for the afternoon serenade, and for Black Demize Heavy Metal band for the evening concert. Special plug for Black Demize, they were absolutely awesome. I am not a heavy metal fan, but I did enjoy this band. My son, plays a 6 string bass. He broke a string, the lowest note one, had no spare, they quickly retuned his bass and he played like nothing was missing! I was honeslty impressed! I knew he had talent, just didn't know he was that good! And above all, the good lord for keeping the rains away, until early Sunday Morning.

Money came in from several places. One very mentionable was a lady walks up to us Friday evening, she had 2 jars of "refrigerator" pickles, she sold the two jars to two RC members and then added the money to another wad of money and give it to me for a donation. Several times during the day Saturday people just walked up and handed us donations, one check for $200, just because they wanted to help out, several $100 donations as well.
So...........drumroll please!

Food brought in $1000.00 was a few dollars short of that and the Carolina Wheelers chipped in and made it an even grand
The Auction brought in $2571.00!
And the donations came to $1017.00
For a total so far of $4588.00!

Thanks so much for all those who was a part of this!
