Well ended up just being 3 of us going out to mess around for the day..

We rode every trail except Falls Dam.. and we could have done that if we wanted to but when we close to the tow rig I decided to just say screw it lets go...

So since we really did not stop for anything we only got a few pics while messign around.. ( I was very surprised at home much my rear tire flexed )

Hey! I saw you guys....I was w/ the 2-stock & 1-stripped down fullsize Fords that held your group up a while....

I was riding shotgun in the stripped 3/4-ton running around helping the red/white truck up the rocks....

Nice ride by the way!! I liked the white one too...

Later,
Doc

The yellow Samurai behind you guys looked like he was having too much fun....

so any chance of a pic of you going over that rock? :flipoff2:

I did get out and lokk to see if I could.. and to be honest if one of those trees was not there I would have tried it.. but I was a little worried that I may get wedged in if i did try with the tree there :(

maybe I can convince the rangers to cut them down :)

Question for Bruiser

Bruiser nice XJ. You happen to have any close up pictures of your radius arms / cross member? Just wondering if you sleeved them and ran heim joints or ??? Maybe a pm, 'cause I got some other ??'s and don't want to bore everyone.
Thanks - 93JXJ

It's definitely not fun. Especially with onlookers. I got myself wedged in between the rock and the tree on your passenger side earlier this year. I felt pretty smart.

Nice looking XJ, you need to bring it to our open ride in a couple of weeks I think you'd have a good time.

it makes a hell of a noise and feels like you're tearing all the links off...it's not worth the cringing

Pics? Tell me who that is on the far right in this pic from that day? I know Paul took some pics but I don't think he got any while I was wedged in.

Ken,
What tire pressure were you running? My guess is under 10 psi. Also are those 36's or 38's? Looks like you might have a little fender trimmin in order else relo the rear axle further back.

He already replied 38x12.50's...I'd say around 5 psi....and doesn't look like he needs to trim anything, XJs have leafs with shackles at the rear, as the spring compresses the axle moves backwards away from the door opening.

My bad, I missed the 38's. Nice Ken.

Here is what I mean, (wtf I can't copy his first pic here, oh well). The tire is very close to the sheet metal. Having done this myself, I would hate to see a perfectly good set of 38s messed up. Knowing Ken, he probly already thought of this.
