Lets See a Pic of Your tow rig and trailer.

My new to me 2012 F350 with my camper and jeep.

Will be putting the CJ5 in soon. Did a lot of measuring before buying. 13' garage. Jeep is 11.5' long. Ramp is rated for 3k.
Trailer is 13500 dry. CJ-5 is about 2200 (fiberglass body, aluminum wheels). So we'll be (easily) pushing the 16500 GVRW. Keep trying to get the wife not to get cast iron pans, lol.
I'd still like to have a Sundowner. So much lighter. Maybe one day.
@No fries Did put the CJ-5 in. Fit well. Engine is right behind the rear tires of the trailer. I've towed with it and it really doesn't seem any different. I imagine it's missing 1-300 pounds of pin weight, but these are already very pin heavy.

Bought this trailer 8 yrs ago, it's on the first page of this thread when Jeremy owned it. Anyway the neck has always been too low so last year I added a 3rd axle and lifted it 4.5" . Headed to AL for a week last week and the brakes were non existent and the 3rd axle had bad seals, Monday replaced 4 of the brakes with way marked up parts from a trailer dealer and put the two new spares I had on the back since those two were the older tires, brother said he for sure torqued the lug nuts. Brakes still sucked but left yesterday anyway.
At 430 somewhere past Montgomery the driver rear tire disappeared which caused the passenger rear to shred itself, spent 3 hrs looking for a hub or replacement studs finally said screw it pull the skid steer all the way forward and keep going on 2 axles.
10 miles from auburn one of the front tires blew, replaced that pulled into the new buc ees and spent the night, ended up being a trailer dealer 2 miles away. Not only did he not gouge me on hub and new tires but sold a whole new trailer and let me leave mine on his lot until I can come back through. Anyway been a shitty expensive 3 days...

Maaaaan... If I knew what I was missing out on I would have picked one if these up WAAAAAY SOONER

Scored a pretty damn sweet 8.1/Allison 4x4 yesterday in walkertown. Grabbed the trailer this am and went to get the daily I left yesterday at the little use car lot I found it at. Loaded the Honda up and headed home. This truck had no idea it was back there. I swear this thing pulls better and stronger than my 05 6.blow with the 100hp tune.
I'm SO impressed with this truck.
This will replace my dumptruck as a general "truck". No plans to sell the suburban.

I have full intentions of owning another 8.1 truck one day. I miss mine terribly, and was always in love with the way it pulled.

Ditched the ghetto fabulous rims and scored some chrome H2's with 35's

Those were too big. So got a set of Nitto ridge grapplers like on the burb

I love this thing. Tows like a dream. That 8.1 is a thirsty gal but damn it's like nothing is back there

And here I am thinking I was going to be happy keeping the PY0s and getting 285 Trail Graps on my K3500; guess I need to keep an eye out for H2s
Fuckin love the truck, trailer, crawler; it's all perfect

Makes me sad about how broke I am
