Just trying to help the longevity of the vehicle. Couple guys ive seen have had that problem, one ran without doors and a rear hatch and then when they put it back on after wheelin, the rear hatch wouldnt latch correctly...signs of tweaking. Other guy ran rear hatch and no doors and got it flexed out and as he was coming out of it the back glass came out. Happened to Bruiser too. Start watching the bigger zjs and xjs on the trail, some of them have tape around the glass.
On a unibody, if you brace one part of it, it weakens the areas around it, its much more exaggerated than body on frame. Steering brace is a definite thing, dont get me wrong, but where is that force transfering too??? We all know how thin that metal is. Bracing from front to rear solves that making the vehicle stronger and lasting longer. He asked for advise, just trying to help, and im running off of others experience. Try to make it a rule of thumb, the bigger you go the more you brace, itll work out better in the end, i promise.
