Just bought some Eagle Chromoly H-Beam connecting rods for Digger's 22R. Got a new Crank Shaft on the way, and when it gets to the race shop, their going to balance it to 11,000 RPMS.... I'm having trouble finding a good Forged Piston and Ring Kit for an 85 motor, Any Help?
Call Tim at DOA Racing Engines here in NC. The dude is the best 22r builder in the world. He'll easily be able to get you some but it may take a little time as they get built to order IIRC. He also has the best cylinder head on the planet that makes wicked power and brings that engine to life. I ran one on my 4runner and put one on two other engines, well worth the cheese.
I think they bore their 22r's out .180 lol thought about it for a week or two but I think I want to make sure my bottom end is bombproof.... Do you know that guy?
Forged piston 22r's get punched 120 over.
Come on down anytime man. Tell Tim that Alex told you to call. If you can't get a hold of him I'll get him for ya.
Good luck with this man. I was just wondering this morning how this build was going. Hope you can make it to Auburn again this year and we can hear this thing screaming.
I'm not going to run this thing if I can't race it %100 and it doesn't look like I'm going to be able to anytime soon.... I'm tired of looking at it get no attention...
