Well I just found out that Google sent vehicles around towns with some sort of camera/video camera attached to the top of the car.. recording everything..

So you can now search your address and see the STREET VIEW

so go here:
http://maps.google.com

type in your address and search
when the little pop up window shows you click on "Street View"

you can scroll around move up and down street and if you drag your mouse towards bottom of screen you can see the car that was doing the driving around.

these pics are very recent.. cause my neighbors had a pod in there driveway in oct and nov and it is in the pic.
 
at my job you can see the top part of my jeep behind some little car (which is rare for me to drive the jeep, it is normally broke)

my DAD's car is parked in front of my house..

but they did not go into parking lots so nope can not see my cars at work..

They don't have me yet. Gotta be sure to leave crap all over the yard and car parts everywhere for when they come by, just for effect.

I like how you can see their car, lol. They should have driven something more snazzy.

Is anybody else just a little bothered by this? To me, this is starting to push the envelope of privacy invasion.

My work must be blocking the popup window...I can only see Map/Satellite/Terrain. Google maps doesnt recognize my street or address, but I see it on satellite :shaking:
 
looks like they're only about 3 miles away from where I live.. I should put up a big sign on the front of my house... :lol:

you know Im generally prrety sane and anti conspiracy theory, but...

In the history of the United States, has any private company ever had as much personal information on its citizens as Google currently does?

With GPS technology, and info currently available on Google, you are pretty damn close to big brother.

Im not sure how many people are aware just how big Google has grown.

I can tell you this, the power could go out and google could power half of Charlotte for 1 year without a diesel supply truck coming on site. And thats from 100 miles away, and the infrastructure grid is in place to do just that.

When you think back to how we all learned about a google (for me and everyone I have asked, it stems to elementary school and weekly readers) and then to be a company the size and strength it has grown to, the thought of a commie sub culture designed to hurt us in the 80s seems mighty eerie.

of course I think thats crazy, but what if...
 
The best satellite pics I have of my house is from when Globe Explorer* first came out.
Its so good you can see the silver stripes up an over my Black Dodge SST

Google has it, but its from last summer, (I can tell cuz my yard is the only green one...LOL!) it's very fuzzy, and not nearly as close-up...yet!
 
i didnt see anything that said "street view"........does that mean they havnt got here yet?.......this is rather eerie, not too big on them knowin so much....i thought google earth was pushin it...and now this?!
