Lone Rider Peacemaker

josh, close to you. ingles in dallas has it and i posted this thread last night from taco mac in huntersville where they have it on tap. unfortunately, the lone rider tent at the nc brews and music fest ran dry when i was next in line last night. i was really hoping to sample their other brews.
 
Just picked up another sixer. Today's session will begin with a Dogfish Head 90min, followed by a Snake Dog IPA, then the 6pack of Peacmaker. FWIW, the Peacmaker is by far one of the better APA's I've ever had. Ken, I wish I had a better selection of all of your brews nearby. If I ever make up an excuse to come to Raleigh, I've got to visit the brewery!
 
lol, no!...and I wouldn't believe you either. You just can't go wrong with some of those bands, outside, with good beers:(

Fawk yeah.

The problem with 90 minute around here... is that people swap out bottles with 60 minute and buy the 6-pack with two 60s and four 90s in it. :flipoff:

But eventually, that leads to a surplus of wrongly packaged DFH60's... rip for the plucking at 1/2 off!

One of my favorite IPAs (besides, OK throw them ALL under my favs) is Flying Dogs "Raging Bitch"... and IPA with a Belgium/chemay flare.
On the opposite end would be the DFH120 Minute IPA... lighterfluid o_O
 
The 90 minute costs more.... for only four beers. So there's a shelf full of what should be 90-minute carriers filled with 60-minute bottles. 60-minute is good... but overpriced at $2.50/12oz.

My wonderful girlfriend picked up a 6 of Raging Bitch for me the other night. She went out on a limb and picked something I hadn't run across yet. It was good, as to be expected from Flying Dog. I'm jealous at the 120. I've been trying to find it for as long as I've been drinking real beer, but have had no luck. I bet it's just a tad astringent.lol Even if it does taste like lighter fluid, I still want to try one.

As for mass consumption, Flying Dog's "Doggie Style" is one that you can drink like water and still have a bit of flavor. It's a little bland for even an APA, but refreshing.
 
I don't think they sell the 120 around here. You've got to go up north to get it, and even then, it's sort of rare.

Have you tried Raison D'Etre from Dogfish yet? That stuff is amazing and pretty fair price at 1.66/bottle at 8% ABV.
 
No offense......(Hit me)..... but you guys are starting to sound like Beer Snobs!:p..... Like wine snobs without the pointed pinky!:D Just buy it and try it.........lots and lots of different, GREAT brews for sale nowdays from many brewers, local, and out of state.......Enjoy them all! :beer::D
 
I'll try any :beer: once... I'm not a fan of pale ales or IPAs... but I'll try them until I find something I do like. I'm also not too proud to drink diet Hamm's or High Life. Just no Bud.

OK,............. I just drank one Dogfish 90 minute for the first time.............. Me Likey :D o_O............... I may be becoming a beer snob myself now :eek:ops: ....................I like this shit!!!....... the o_O per ounces/bottles ,bang for the buck , ( BUZZ factor ) kinda matches the $$$ ratio w lesser priced/strengh brews and i like this IPA unlike some i've tried. I dont think i'll drink all 4 of them tonight...........I have to work early tomorrow :beer:
