My wife and I are looking for a good 4x4 club to get hooked up with, we live in Mooresville NC, both of us are in our mid 40's and just out to have fun and see some nice sites, just bought a jeep wrangler (2013). Were looking for a club that have people that have respect for fellow 4x4ers (not people that will run you over side swipe other people like I have found years ago when I had a 4x4). If any one can point us in the right direction, that would really be great.

I'll throw us in the loop too. Lake Norman Crawlers. We are meeting at the El Cerro Mexican Restaurant of Brawley School tonight in Mooresville. We are a pretty low key crowd and most of us are running JK's.

Once my schedule frees up some though I plan to look into the Carolina Trailblazers too. No reason not to be in a couple clubs.

I am fairly new to Jeeps myself, I bought mine last fall. What I did was I started going to as many work days I could at Uwharrie Forest (there is one this Saturday BTW). There I met some great people and ultimately joined CTB. There are many great clubs out there and all are usually represented well on the work days. For me this was the fastest way to get to know folks out at Uwharrie.

I'd highly recommend Carolina Trailblazers. They/we are a highly family oriented club with a vast range of vehicles and people. It's a little far out but I'd recommend coming out to our Fun Caravan at Uwharrie later in the year.

I've been a member of the Carolina Trailblazers since 2000. I joined when I got my first bonestock Jeep and was hooked ever since. We are a family oriented club that has been around over 40 years. We ride monthly. We just got back from Potts Mtn Jeep Trail in Jefferson National Forest. We have members from all over NC and SC. We do monthly rides and workdays at URE. The Fun Caravan in Sept is an event you don't want to miss.

Just wanna thank every one for helping me out, and pointing me in the right direction. I'm going to be contacting some people in a couple clubs and see where it takes me. Thanks again guys, you all seem like a great bunch of people, don't find many people that will help out the new guy.

What and where is CNC?

CNC4x4.org

Located out of Raleigh NC. But have members from all over the state and other states as well. Even Colorado and Kansas.
