I'm failing to see any coverup here.
As of the latest article, 18 hrs ago, the other driver is only "suspected" but not charged of DD yet. There was a policy change a bit ago - discussed here - about news outlets backing off on releasing photos and names until a charge is made. Now we all know that doesn't always happen.
Who knows if he was illegal. My suspicion (based on zero facts) is that is a rumor. I don't really care, the crime and sad outcome is the same.

Thats fine....no need to burn the guy at the stake yet.

However, if ANY crime is committed by an illegal, it goes far more than just the act. Every single politician and officer that has allowed the illegals to get here and stay here should be jailed as well, as accomplices. Dont we jail people that aid and abet all the time? The politicians deliberately allowed laws to be broken for personal and politiccal gain, which results in the death of someone. How is thos not prosecuted? How is this tolerated? How and why have we sat back and let it happen? We have enough trouble keeping actual tax paying citizens in line, why import more problems? How does that make America or anything better? Short term and long term.

But what if the person snuck in and didn't tell the politicians and officers?
 
What about the constant gutting of police and border patrol? What about telling them to basically come on? What about not enforcing citizenship employment rules? What about sheriff officers that are more concerned with being called racist than actually enforcing the law? (Wake Co. Sheriff as an example), what about allowing illegals to drive and get benefits? What about catching and releasing? On and on. I guess anything is possible, but we sure do like ruining America from the inside. And laugh all the way.
 
I don't even disagree with your sentiment, but I think your burden of proof for aiding and abetting is rather weak.
