It's been my experience, when someone leads with "I'm a Bishop" or "Pastor" right off the bat I assume crook and or snake.

I think she looks like anyone would look after getting a mug shot and going to jail for misdemeanor child abuse. I’d love to know what the full extent of the story is, because this part seems rather telling:
“There were no injuries in our care or threat to any persons.”
Is this actually child abuse, or an overreactive parent being ridiculous? Could be either one based on the information available.

This, please don’t jump to conclusions. When the time is right jump all you want, or not. When my son was born he had Mongolian spots. If you don’t know it’s a blue/purple birthmark that traces the spinal column from the butt cheeks to the shoulders blades. Some cases are worse than others. My sons was medium-severe. It was well documented. When we moved him to on post daycare it was fully disclosed with pictures in his file and everything. A new lady started working there (we knew her) and a day or so later we were contacted by the Military Police (on post daycare). They had the lady in custody for child abuse after she was cleared they then arrested me and my wife for covering up child abuse in the home and we spent 36hrs in custody trying to clear our name. There are situations that happen that don’t always match up to the truth. Now, is a news outlet of the WRAL caliber trying to get some headlines? Did the lady do it? Was the little shit being out of control and the story got manipulated? Wait for the truth on this one. I especially, in this day and age, don’t judge care workers as hard because kids are little shitheads as a direct result of the lack of parenting more often than not. YMMV
