Lots of interesting news today

A compass is about useless if you don't have a map w north pointer that shows the area where you started from and you check what direction/directions you traveled from there now and then.
Negative gost rider.......compasses where used for just that.....finding your way long before maps existing. Its the basis for a heading or zero. If you know that you eliminate miles of guess work. Shoot it could be sectors or degrees. It's still a baseline. "Not wandering".

That works fine when you can travel in a straight line. In swamps, thickets, canyons etc.and you have to go around them you have to change direction and reverse the headings to get back where you came from.A topo map makes that a lot easier.

A compass is only as smart as its user. In this case it probably wouldn't even work right as a paperweight.

So LEOs should wait for the crazy man, pointing a gun at them to fire first before they return fire? I bet this brilliant reporter has never had a gun pointed at him.

Roxboro man killed by police had previous encounter with officer who fired fatal shot :: WRAL.com

It would be no different than the politician/general public influenced ROE is in any of the deployed regions right now. Take it for what it’s worth but a full time professional soldier has more restrictions fighting enemy combatants than police do here dealing with our own citizens.

This is actually happening now! WTF

If you don't like it, Fuck off.
As we enter 6 months of your gonna die from the CORONAVIRUS, i'm still alive.
Never missed a day of work, never took a dime from GOVCO since i was a soldier in '81.
This "Pandemic" has been weaponized by the media.
FUCK THE MEDIA!
A PSA from me, don't lick the door knob at the gas station.
Rant off, peace and love to my fellow humans.
We will survive this.

My name is Paul, and i sponsored this message.
Flame suit is on for any haters.

I would hate to have to present that to a group of factory workers, but I have to assume that the policy is based on the desire to not infringe on the protexted classes of race or sexual orientation; not worth the lawsuit for them, or more likely the trial by mob that would happen on Twitter. Occupation (police) and politicial affiliation are not protected.

That said, "white lives matter" would have be acceptable under that policy.

How is Blue lives matter political? Oh that’s right, because the Marxist BLM group said all white cops kill black people [emoji849]

Well, since we're going down this rabbit hole...

A former coworker forwarded this to me this morning:

Well The president just tweeted to not buy Goodyear tires......so thats probably not going to be good for business.....
Every large corporation is like this, so saying such a thing is basically slandering a particular one, which is foolish and outlandish. So yeah, I'm not surprised :D

During our annual ethics training it was re stated very clearly, being an election year, that there is a distinction between "political parties"/"Political activities" and "Activist issues". The first of which is explicitly banned from being showing any support in the workplace by government employees, but the second is not.
So, you can have a giant "Abortion is bad" or "support your LEO" mug on your desk, but no MAGA or Sleepy Joe attire.

But based on that logic, Blue Lives Matter would be allowed, as would technically Black Lives Matter.
That of course is Federal workplace, a private company can set whatever rule they want (assuming it stays clear of protected classes).

I can only think this was some HR guy's way of trying to be ahead of the curve but totally missed the mark.
