Nothing new.

I've been designing "Kid-proof" gang toilets for 25 years. Regardless of what you use (I've used Penalware for prisons and have suggested it for years to facilities planners for schools) they WILL find a way to destroy it.

And this was before tictak street cred

True story, 1981 West Cary Jr. high. A dude that was about 20 yrs old cause he flunked 3 or 4 times was getting suspended about every month for smoking, fighting, vandalism etc. The principle mr. Cobb was watching him like a hawk to get him expelled. Dipshit wrote graffiti about cobb on the hall walls and the bathroom walls and everyone knew who was doing it. Cobb saw him going in a bathroom and then others leaving quickly and laughing at a class change. Dipshit ran out and down the hall and Cobb ran in just in time to have a M-80 that was flushed down a toilet explode and shower him w water and other things in a toilet. He seemed a bit dizzy as he came out but he found the pooper bomber and he was picked up by the police and sent to juvenile det. He stayed there for a long time cause he kept doing stupid shit. He had a younger brother and sister @ school and they were good kids.
