Supply houses are all like that. I only get stuff at fastenal I need right now and don't have time to wait for grainger shipping. I have had good luck hagglin with CES for better prices on electrical supplies. Most of the time I can get them to beat my discounted grainger price.
 
1. Lowes in Greenville sucks. The one on Memorial is better but not by much. It's pretty sorry they don't stock a single vessel sink or vessel sink faucet!

2. I can't wait for HD to come back to town.

3. I wish Menards would come to NC!


Wayfair and Amazon have been my go-to.
 
And they will probably want your driver license to exchange something with their name stamped in it too.. I still have a broken kobalt ratchet because of that. Just why? Not like I wanted my money back.. but now I do if I go over there with it, it will be for cash, just because of that.

Just tonight was hunting an SDS-Max to SDS+ adapter. "Wholesale" price at Fastenal, $132.20. Amazon (same DW item#), $51.10 on prime.

Oh and Lowes has some stupid black list of people that make returns without receipts. After like two times you are banned for life from making returns without a receipt. It's not like their receipts last more than a day without becoming illegible so it makes no difference if I have it anyway. :rolleyes:

That's where the the "My lowes" account actually works. I have the sticker on the back of my company card. It's mainly there to pull up previous purchases when receipts magically disappear after being given to our accounting assistant. Not as bad anymore with the AMEX Business app.
 
A Slight twist to this post, but since Craftsman was mentioned; today's announcement, Sears has Dropped Whirpool, which includes Maytag, KitchenAid, & Jenn-Air. After selling them for 100 years, a new wholesale "Pricing", couldn't be settled, so Sears is dropping Whirlpool! Guess they'll be a Clothing store, til Big Lots buys them out!
