Someone posted a while back about a cleaner they bought at the dollar gentral or the like that worked wonders on tires, lawnmower seats and your exes bad habits! Can’t find it bt need some of that magic in my life. If I remember @ponykilr used it and was recommended by @CasterTroy but I could be mistaken?? Any help would be great.

TIA.

Appreciate it but not the sauce I was inquiring about.

Fwiw- the best thing I’ve ever found for tires is powdered comet on a semi stiff brush. Followed by Wesley’s bleach white

This is for vinyl fence post covers FWIW. they are white but have been outside a lot of years so trying to get the funk off of them before I reinstall them for fence line at La casa

For vinyl fencing zep makes a vinyl cleaner and brightener that’s amazing. Cheap and usually available at lowes

Will investigate both options! This time of year I hate Lowe’s cause as soon as I mention I have to go there the wife goes and my $3 purchase turns into a Lowe’s mortgage payment via the garden center 😒

Totally Awesome cleaner from Dollar Gentral is what I speak of and proclaim as the best cleaner in the land.

It takes “brown” off of tires like magic.

It cleans mildewed grimy lawnmower seats in minutes when NOTHING else worked.

It will amaze you. I’m never wasting money on Purple Power again.

A gallon is like $6.

Purple power is disappointing. I feel like it has gotten weaker through the years. I switched over to Castrol Super Clean last year and it is much better.

In the 90s it would make the brown on tires run and take the skin off your hands if you weren’t gloved or quick about using it. It for sure changed to the point Dawn is about as useful.

Speaking of, the spray bottle from Dawn Powerwash is perfect for Totally Awesome. It sort of aerates it.

I should have taken before pictures of the seat from my Zmaster. It had that grime and mildew looking staining that is “in” the material. Yellow JD seats get this staining too. I tried everything and nothing touched it.

TA took off quickly and with no damage to the material. Some kind of voodoo 👹

The next time I power wash my large front porch, I will use some on it to see what it does to wood. My expectation is it will clean like TSP.

Awesome cleaner, Dollar General and Dollar tree. Make sure you get the one that's name is only awesome, it's the darker yellow

Seems far more expensive than simple green which ie had good luck with. $11-12/gallon for concentrate and I mix it 50/50, but you can dilute it even more

Now that's Old School!

BTW- If IF IF you can find it ( seems like not all dollar stores carry it) the best toilet bowl cleaner comes from there.
It like 125% "eat the flesh from you bones" acid and workd like Orbit gum for the toilet.
My nephew worked for the local Chem-tech distributor and said it was actually their stuff in a generic bottle.

Followed by Wesley’s bleach white

RIP to the original Bleche White. In the carwash world the rights to it changed hands a few times. westleys > someone else > ecolab > Zep > NCS and NCS ended up discontinuing it. There is a Black Magic formula available now on some shelves but it’s not the exact same as the OG

FWIW what you guys are all seeing with stuff like Westleys and Totally Awesome etc turning tires brown and really working is alkalinity. I think TA in concentrate is like a 13ph. Out of curiosity I’ll grab some and PH it. Now it has my wheels turning. Stuff like Bleche White or any green tire cleaner worth its salt is a hi pH product. Why you’re seeing it work well on tires (brake dust, oily road grime etc), moldy mower seats etc…hi pH most effectively cleans Organics while lo pH (Acids) cleans Inorganics.

There is your crash course Wash 101 that you didn’t ask for 😂

that's like me telling someone that regearing their axle is easy.
"Just (all my axle nerd jargon) and you'll be set"

I remember there being an acid that smelled like rotten eggs that could be bought in the gallon that would turn anything aluminum super clean. I used to use it on transmissions and transfer cases and it worked great. I got it from the local tractor store that closed years ago. Haven't been able to find it anywhere else. Stuff worked great as long as you kept it away from wheels. lol

Or bolts. That stuff would rust a bolt in seconds

I used it like crazy on my dirt bikes with aluminum frames. Worked wonders as long as you didn't get it on anything steel.

I miss that stuff 🥺 as well as the muratic acid you use to be able to buy at home depot in the 90's to "clean driveways" 😇

You could chunk a body into a bathtub and there would be nothing left the next day (have to be sure you didn't have cast iron drain lines though 😜)

You literally did this to me LOL about installing my LSD 🤣
