Raleigh Mayor Mary-Ann Baldwin has amended the city's emergency order for the coronavirus pandemic to require that people wear masks in public, starting at 4 p.m. Friday.

ABC store in Nags Head required a mask and turned me around at the door. Only time I wear a mask is when I’m on my own production floor, so I didn’t have one readily available. Went back to my car, twisted up an old tshirt, tied it around my head and got the stamp of approval for entry.

Mac5005 I am not aware of any. NCGS 14-269 which is the ccw statue doesn't say anything about wearing a mask and carrying. Now a town or city may have their own ordinance against it.

That's my biggest question. I might could see 24 hours so it runs a few news broadcasts, but honestly the way information is shared now that is still overkill. And why 4pm? Why not 5, or noon?

No longer do I have to worry about walking into a stream as some one crop dusts in a public area.

And at the same time, if I crop dust in the local Walmart, I can stop mid stream and admire my work without anyone able to see the shit eating grin on my face......

Gotta be careful with that line of thought...wasn’t that long ago people were behind ‘if you’re afraid to go out, stay home’. I still think it’s all asinine...assess and assume whatever level of risk you’re comfortable with.
