Pretty common. Search pirate for pics? Kinda like a big wishbone. The end with two ends is solid welded to the axle. The small end(where the wishbone joins) has a large joint attached to the frame. Needs a panhard bar for lateral movement. Not the best design, but they work.

That said, i didnt look at the suspension on the link.

Oh thats so nasty!! That bronco has 4 way steering! So whats with the neuse on the back of that S10? I thought that was something biggots put on their rig to show they are racist. Could be wrong, but either way, thats a big @ss truck!!

It's his recovery/tow rope. Mud guys hav this thing about using small tug boat ropes instead of straps. I don't know why but if you go to a mud bog you will see most of the trucks with large ropes in the bed tied off to the hitch. I would think a 40K lb snatch strap would work just fine but maybe I'm wrong. I'm not a mudder. Possibly Ricky can chime in and let us know why.

Usually cause you can get those ropes in a really long version compared to a strap.

Plus I mean all us mudders like oversized stuff, I mean look at our tires and engines :driver:
