I probably shouldn’t tell this, but my last trip to Iraq someone built an incredible trebuchet on the roof of our building. The building three story with a walkout roof access so we had some elevation compared to all the ones around us. It would launch all sorts of items into populated areas. It was some impressive engineering out of ropes and scrap wood. Someone was bored as shit with a lot of time on their hands. It would send a golf ball out of sight.
