Oh you mean that time period when health cost out run your savings and your no longer young enough to buckle down to earn extra. Even worse have less mental and physical capacity to enjoy what's left of "retirement".

Buy the gun.
And the boat, vacation, tickets, family outings and pursue any other genuine hobby. Last but most importantly if you think your cut out to better anything or anyone around you start now.

Up north there was a roundabout near my tech school. It was one of those ones with the bricks in the "inner loop" for tractor trailers to be able to get through. Well one night my buddy and I took his little shitbox and did laps on the inner circle while car were going around in the actual circle. Ahhh fun times
