Just spent $$$ repairing A/C today while interior temps climbed into the upper 80's, so very timely post! Went out some time Sat night but didn't realize until early afternoon Sun. Slept in hammock on sleeping porch with ceiling fan screaming for its life. Just now feeling some wisps of cool air. It will take till late tonight to cool these walls. Thank you Willis! :)

About 20 years ago there was an old lady in Reynolda Village (in Winston Salem) who had an antique shop.
Her husband was the man who invented to the first usable system for automobile a/c.

He is a hero in my eyes!
