I am pretty sure I saw a horse DWI at Mule Days in Benson one year.Nope. In NC you can not get a DWI on a horse, bicycle, or lawnmower.

Interesting. I guess NC changed the law.NC DWI Laws Extend to Riding Horses While Intoxicated
In the state of North Carolina, is is apparently a DWI charge when a person is found guilty of riding their horse while intoxicated.rjrlaw.com

So where my question really is if you do not have reins and or a bridal are you technically operating said horse? Lets say your at the bar and had too much so you call home and Mr. Ed Walks on down and carries you home. You wouldn't get a DUI if your buddy was giving you a piggyback ride home.I am pretty sure I saw a horse DWI at Mule Days in Benson one year.
Thay is the dang truth! I have been tired of seeing old men just walking around the gym locker room… I can’t wait to be the age of “I don’t give a ****”
FIFYSounds to me that if you’re drunk on a horse with no saddle or reigns, you’re just lucky to make it home.
