I honestly don’t understand how this happens. I usually junk cars at 250k…and rotors get turned every 100k or so…and that’s city/stop-and-go traffic. Soft rotors for ‘better stopping’ or???
Once they get metal to metal things start happening fast. I have seen them get to that point and then blow out the caliper piston. People would loose there mind when you quoted the job because it just started making noise yesterday. :shaking:

I got one on my Chevy 3500 work truck that EATS pads and it's paper thin. I ground off the edges of the pads so they wouldn't catch the thinnest parts of the rotor, lol I plan to make it right this winter when I slow down bit. It's been this way for a while, it'll be ok lol
