Bad arthritis in my right hand and fingers, grabbing the wheel hurts. Grabbing it this way is comfortably, same grab when driving the K1500.

I'm some variation of farmer and left handed racecar driver. Left thumb resting on the inside corner in traffic so my fingers are on the signal stalk, and up about "farmer" or "trucker" position when cruising down empty road, but right hand on the shifter 95% of the time.
