That's a very good question. Let's form a focus group and have a zoom call every other day for 2 hours to discuss

I love it when they do that crap and all the similar stuff with equally useless impressive sounding names all just to swindle you into doing more work in less time ......
Only to find out your department is already so far past their objective they couldnt improve anything.
Thems get all bumfuzzled.

Back when I worked for a global engine company, if you wanted to advance beyond a certain position and pay grade you had to participate in 3 and champion/lead one 6sigma projects.
I put my list of potential projects I'd like to explore together.
Senior old fart says - I'd really like your mind and investigation into this problem "Why do we have so many multiple trips for this type of service event. We spend a lot of money making 2+ trips on these type of events where we would make so much more if we could complete the process in 1 trip"
I looked at him like a cow looking at a new gate. The event he was describing is defined as a multi step multi day testing process. That is - in order to comply with code it must be done over 2 days. But he insisted. I was assigned an unrelated black belt to guide me and semi monthly meetings were held. Pizzas were bought and conference rooms were reserved.
6 months later...we were complete and the findings were published.

"The best way to reduce the stress of repeat trips for service event A is to change upper managements expectations to align with the market requirements and the current pricing model which incorporates costing for multiple trips into the estimate."

That is a shortened version. And yet another reason I hate 6sigma. Kaison, 5S,...whatever else you wanna call it
