They do have an alternative medical route.

Give them meds to think they are being helped while not actually curing the issue so big pharma gives the kickbacks. Easier to handle a drugged out vet than one who asks questions.

Wasn't meds, they stuck a feeding tube through is stomach lining and wondered why he was hemorrhaging bile. Vietnam vet gone way before his time. He had an issue that was treatable until he went in.

Sadly this is what we are dealing with currently with my step-father. F*CK the VA and their 3rd string doctors

EDIT: This is in reference to the Salisbury hospital. He has been treated at Kernersville twice and both times were way better due to overcrowding. We are trying our hardest to get his care transferred to Kernersville permanently.

I pulled into the rather vacant parking lot at our now (basically) closed offices today. There were about 3 cars in the lot and I laughed when I noticed everyone still parked perfectly in their spaces.

I of course parked all fucked up across multiple spots and hanging out into the lane. 😁
