Motor-sickle Racing (MX/SX, GNCC, MotoGP, Hard Enduro, SBK, etc)

I've been riding up towards 8/89 Stuart VA running our on MotoGP course. :D. Are they airing it on Peacock?
Heard that! And no, maybe on TNT sports? I pay the $150/year for the MotoGP videopass and then split it with a couple friends. That and the $50/yr for SX/MX on PeeCock is all I spend on TV.

Deegan is a beast.

The scrub/save at the beginning of Moto 2 as he laid it over to get past Levi had me come out of my chair. I may be partial because Southwick was the first National I ever went to, but there is rarely a better race throughout the year. The racing there always delivers a good story line or performance for someone. Locals showing up and getting it done against factory guys, someone like Dungey coming from almost a lap down to blow through most of the pack, Ricky winning 8 straight motos at the track etc.

I just finished watching the Southwick race 15 minutes ago, and now I see this. Holy cow!

All the big names out with thumb injuries now. Makes me feel justified that my thumb injury was such a big deal a few years ago, haha.

So now does Hunter have a chance with Jett gone? I get the feeling Sexton might take advantage and run away with it.

You gonna ride the lame stuff?

Ok. So I lied. Getting lost and following race arrows all over 9/10/11 got us on some of the BOTG course. There was some rock crawling of an 250FX between singletrack sections. Also…the waterfall sections at the top of 11. Absolutely not. I wouldn’t even try that in a buggy.

Deegan with a 51 point lead.

Races at Charlotte was pretty neat. First time I've been to the Z-Max period. Spent greater part of the day. Pit walk through and the little studs on 65's where my favorites.

Degan coming through the pack in the 250's was good racing. The last moto and a little lead swapping and chase was good.

On those 65's good grief no fear. Qualifying beat those boys up pretty good on the rhythm section. Couple really hit hard and knocked the breath out of them. They started jumping a table top to gap off a conex to a lower slope that would make any average rider think hard. Then a leader jumped the finish gap! The crowd responded to that more then any other ! It was awesome. A late packer did it to.

Dang shame I learned latter they DQ'd the little dude for hitting that jump after being told not to. Boooooooo!

Ended up not going this year. Kids enjoyed the pits more than the racing, so I figured maybe we’d just go do a pit visit Friday night, but the greedy bastards require a $70+ Saturday ticket to get in Friday night :shaking:

Talked to a buddy of mine on Friday and said “hey, let’s ride dirt bikes and cook burgers at my house and then we’ll watch the race at my house instead!” And we did. And it was a blast. Not the same as being there, but you could see the race so much better, and I’ll throw that $300 away on something else.

Same thing here. Decided to ride in the mountains instead of pay 80 bucks each for a ticket.
