My apology

Nissan makes a 4WD? That's weird, what do they look like?
I had a Datsun 4WD when I was 17, if there was dew/rain on the front yard grass it couldn't drive across it.

I remember that truck. Seems like i saw a picture of 4 or 5 guys in the bed so it would get back up a boat ramp. Or maybe ya'll were just goofin off.

I think it should be manditory for every person getting their license to ride along on a crash truck to a bad wreck just to see what speed does. It would definately put things in perspective. I'm guilty. When I was younger I tried to top out every vehicle I got in including a CBR 900 that topped out at 173mph. Then I joined the fire dept and got to see first hand what speed does. The first time you see someones brains splattered on the pavement or someone ripped in half it makes you think. This is why I wheel instead of riding motorcycle or building/racing street rods.

Alot of emotion here! Some personal attacks too. One assumption I keep hearing "This guys an idiot he just wants to go fast (or slow)" Many of you have these assumption movies playing in your heads about what the other guy is all about. "Time to get even mode! I'll brake check or go slow or ride his ass till they get the point!" You are assuming there is no good reason for the others behavior! NCDMV book does state repeatedly to drive in a courteous manner. Courteous driving is a good idea.
If you are driving slower than another driver then why not let them through? Let them flush out the cops. They may have an emergency. Why get them even more frustrated. Is a fast driver a better driver in an angry state?
If you're tailgaiting to give a slower driver a hint, tell me how happy you are with that strategy. Is it working for you? Is it safe?
As for driving in snow and ice... I have never seen more diversity in snow/ice driving speed as I've seen in Durham, NC. Some of the responses here reflect that. Bless your hearts!
