nope, i'm saying that it's pointless to try to change them. so why waste your time?

I do have to thank you though, it is such an honor that you are wanting to take my advice. I do have to warn you though, i have only been around for 19 years, there are many other people on this board that have much more wisdom than i, and can give you much better advice.:D
 
I like everyone copy & pasting everyone elses comments and then justifying them. This went from one guys rant to an online fight... just dont throw trash on my rig please i dont see how that had to pertain to this thread.

Point Three Now we are facing a situation where your local wheeling spot is up for a vote. Perhaps it needs to be shut down. It goes to a vote. Car wash owner is now forever pisssed at you for leaving his business a mess he votes against us. Soccer mom hasn't forgotten the day she ccouldnt spray off her bimmer she votes against us as well. Have you even considered the community as a whol that drove by and saw the diarreah mess you left behind.
Point Four Entrepeneur types (you now the kind of guy that usually owns a car wash) tend to be involved in multiplee business entities and quite often have close ties to at least local politics.Thats a nice enemy to make for our sport as a whole.
Let me give you another example. In college I worked one year at a shop right beside a mall. Often at lunch/dinner (depending on shift etc.) we would go into the mall and eat at one of the food court choices. Well at the other end was an attached firestone type place and their mechanics as well would come in there. For whatever reason that group had pretty poor hygiene or what not and always left grease (we all had black hands, they would have like bearing grease dripping off and shit, aint even seen a sink) on their hands which got on the tables. No there were only 2 or 3 of these pigs and in all honesty they only staind 3 or 4 tables as they generally sat in the same area every day. Mall management took notice and made a rule that no employee of any business in the mall could eat in the food court while on the clock. Guess what? Not only were countless others hurt because they could not eat their lunch there (much like soccer mom above) but the food court lost business also (like the carwash owner) because he had less patrons.
Guys there is a thing called decency. If you do not have enough time,money or energy to clean a wash bay then you do not have enough time, money, or energy to washh your rig. Just like if you do not have enough $ for a tip you do not have enough $ to eat out.
I am really shocked and disgusted that we have people defending this behaviour.

Point taken. I didn't quite realize that most don't have attendants. The only one i've gone to with a muddy vehicle was the one near my house in chapel hill, and there was always a guy there telling me to remember to clean up my mess. When I had the extra time left in the machine I did, when I didn't, obviously I didn't and he would just say UGHH, walk over do something with the machine and then either spray the remainder down the drain or have me do it. Never really washed my 4x4 anywhere else so I just kinda assumed that there was always an attendant there during normal hours.
That's why I didn't feel bad about leaving a mess during the day, because the guy would take care of it before any business was lost. And when I did use it after midnight, I actually did clean it up so nobody had to deal with it in the morning.
I usually wash cars at my house, so I rarely go to the pay a crapton to wash your car places.

I'm not trying to get into a fight, I was just saying that if you decided to throw trash on my friends vehicle,just because he doesn't agree with you that everybody who leaves a drop of mud at a carwash should be hung, you'd be starting something way more than just a stupid online E-fight, and there would be hell to pay. Police, possibly a new paint job if you made a scratch anywhere. shit doesn't need to be taken from an online argument about one of the dumbest things out to the real world.


And all the analogies, like someone renting your shop then trashing it with leftover junk and a lot of oil stains. The cost to clean that vs. the cost to clean a bay is a lot more, and you can bed I'd be pissed. But the $1 it would cost to clean the bay is more alike to friends coming over, eating your food then spilling it on the carpet leaving a stain for you to clean up. Yeh it's annoying to clean up, but a few shots with a stain remover and it's taken care of.

Some of you have made very good points which have given me a different perspective, others are just dead set on your opinions and can't see anything past what you are thinking in your own thick head.

I guess that's the difference between your friends and friends I have... None of my friends would spill anything on my carpet and leave it there... it's about respect for other people's things..

Which is the same point everybody is trying to make, "I'll do whatever, whenever, but you best not f with my rig, wanna fight about it?" is the best response it'll get so :poop: on it. Once a douche always a douche I guess.

One day he'll get it through his skull that trashing someone elses stuff in whatever way, is no different than someone trashing his stuff.

hell Dave i even offered to let him fight about it if he wants,i know i dont live anymore than 15 miles from him,wilmington aint that big,and its not that i'm trying to be a badass,but the younger generation sure have no respect for themselves,let alone for someone else and it just pisses you off to see there nonchalant attitude they have towards other people property and people like him and his dumbass buddy sure make it hard on the people in this sport/hobby that tries to do right by people,END OF MY RANTING

Drove past a house near Oleander with a white tj sahara and a streched CJ, also white, that resembled the description of yours.

And I prefer McDonalds. But I'll be late, my night class doesn't get out till 9.
 
All right this is getting stupid...Do Not use this forum for setting up silly threats and fighting. I dont think the owners provide it to us for that...besides meet at Mcdonalds and buy one another a Big Mac the food alone will hurt worse than a punch. haha that's true. I just had some mcdonalds for lunch and it tore me up. I'm kidding about meeting with tusk....back to what i had said in the beginning, don't fuck with someone elses vehicle or there will be hell to pay. If you don't, then everything is A-OK.

And i did not change my stance because of the post after post of bitching. In fact i didn't even have a stance on this issue, mostly because i was not even aware it was an issue. The moment i decided where to stand on this issue was with in the first couple posts. So don't try to make me the poster child of "the one who changed his mind after a good flaming" because my thoughts on this topic would be the same even if this thread was only 2 pages long and did not include all the bashing.
