A fundraiser that not only spreads the wealth amongst 4 major charities, but also, one of your personal favorite charities will also receive an equal share of the funds we raise.

The 4 majors charities are:

Toys for Tots=20% of total raised link
Salvation Army=20% of total raised link
Susan G. Komen=20% of total raised link
Operation Homefront=20% of total raised link

The fifth charity will be up to you, the donating member. All you have to do is Donate and then post up in this thread what your charity is.
If your number is picked...your listed charity will receive 20% of the total amount raised.(does not have to be a charity thats already on the top 4 list, but it can be.

The cool part.

We have gathered a list of vendors, who have pledged some GREAT prizes, that 3 lucky donors will win.
These prizes will be placed into 3 donation amount categories.
A. $20 donation = large package
B. $10 donation = medium package
C. $5 donation = small package

These packages will be filled with donations from several vendors.

If you chose to donate $5, then you are only eligible to win the small package. $10 to win the medium package, and of course, if you donate $20 , you will be eligable to win the large prize package.

So...as you donate, a list will be made, and maintained showing all donors and their amounts. ALONG with the charity of that donors choice. This could be anything from a needy family in you area, to maybe your local church, fire dept, 4x4 charity, etc... It does not have to be a charity thats already on the top 4 list, but it can be.

After you donate 5,10, OR 20 dollars, please be prepared to offer a brief description of your charity, or a web-site In your post.

The Contest

We will have 3 random drawings.

The first drawing will determine the ''5th charity'' who will get the 20% donation. We will also award the prize package that corresponds with the amount this particular donor has pledged. So even if you only donate $5 your Charity could still win the 20% donation.
The 2nd and 3rd drawing will be for the remaining prize packages only...

Hm, interesting.
So lets pretend I have $40 I'd like to drop.

I could get 2 chances to get the "better" prizes for myself.... or, I could be selfless and instead get 8 chances at the smaller gifts, netting my charity 8x the chances of getting a cut.

Excactly...thanks for thinking of that...just be sure to be specific with your dollars and where you want them to go.(in your post) and which charities(if different) you want to represent with each $ amount.

Question:confused: My sister has been Diagnosed With large cell lymphoma. She has spent the last 3 weeks at Duke. She just finished chemo and my Be able to come home this weekend. Our family has been having fund raisers and the community has been very supportive. My thanks go out to all of them!! My Question is could she be my charity or would I need to set up some kind of account first?

Dylan, My charity will be (Melinda D Moore) for all 3.
Melinda(Mindy/age 34) is my sister and was diagnosed with Large Cell Lymphoma 4 weeks ago. Earlier this year she was told she had Hodgkin's Lymphoma and under gone 6 months of chemo. When she didn't start getting better the doctor decided to send her to Duke. After 1 week of tests she was told that it was LCL not HL and was put on another regiment of chemo. She just got to come home this week after being away from her kids for 3 weeks. We have been having fund raisers to help with her expenses and the community has been very supportive. The Company that I work for has had several benefits for her. I would like to THANK everyone for their kindness and support while we face this.
