Lots of options, or so the ballot would have you think, lots at stake... did you vote in the NC Primary?

I took all three kids with me, we were in and out in 20 minutes.

Voted last friday. Only took me 40 minutes. Waited about a minute to get in, then spent 40 minutes researching all the candidates for the local offices that I hadn't made decisions on.

I don't live in NC.

I voted early last Thursday. Don't have my hopes up that it will affect any change, but I did my part. I did find it interesting that I've seen signs all over the place about the bond amendment to help the roads and such, but the wording of it on the ballot made it sound like it was primarily for community colleges and state universities. I'm sorry, but they've got enough money. Just my opinion.

Yes i voted, as i have in every election since Reagan's first term.
One of ladies working at my precinct said it was probably going to be a record turnout.

Of 30% of registered voters....................
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ THIS, is what's wrong with this once great country. F'ing pathetic.
Sorry Cyd. /Rant off/

I usually vote no on spending more money....they can't seem to spend what they have right so why give them more reasons to take more $$ from me

Oh and I believe one seat that is more important than the president race is the US senate seat that's up for grabs.. Go Greg Brannon!!

Yep, after work today. Took ten minutes as always. I vote at every election.

One bright spot in this election year. A lot more people are voting.

They said to vote yes, so they won't have to raise taxes. But the raised taxes 15 days ago. Liars. They can find a nice dark place to stick those bonds. There's little, if any, road improvement money in the bond proposal. They'll just rob the education fund when they need to fill potholes around town.

Yup. Went after work because I was curious about the turnout here. It was actually pretty busy. The official website says around 34% turn out which is much better than I would have thought.

It was.

They were selling it as money for roads and bridges and utilities or whatever, but most of it was for the UNC system. To build... stuff.

I guess my school needs more money, they have been non-stop building "stuff" for the past 5 years.

On a side note my slack ass forgot that it was today because of being at school and work all day, should've voted early:shaking:

most of ya'll know im outspoken and opinionated on politics. I feel very put off by politics this year, even at a local level. i didnt go vote. unless there is some pressing local issue i dont think i will vote later either.
