Took the wife and kid today, holy crap it was crowded, some places you could hardly move.

finally got to some rides my daughter could ride ( she's 8yo ) and she had a blast.

She wanted to play some of the games, played a few of the kid games, then one of the water shooter games that fills a tube, first too top wins.

Wife hands game chick a $20, chick hands her back change ( I'm watching this from about 15ft behind ) walked up to wife, had her pull change back out, game was $3 per player per turn ( $6) she got back $4 change. chick was walking away quickly before I said something. Funny how that $10 bill appeared soon as I did say something.

Watch yourself if you go, it's expensive enough without them trying to also rip you off.

Why the hell do you think they are there? it's a carnival=money vacuum.

Stay away from any games that plays you & the jointy running it one on one. If you wan't to play an honest game play the horse races & water balloon games.

If you have little ones, the $2 games in kiddie land should net you a blow up toy.

Like voodoo said, count your change like you should any time you pay for a service.

Don't be a mark...

We went Saturday and I am happy to say we made money :) Yup the wife found cash on the ground.. I am sure that will be the first and last time we ever actually got money back at the fair..

But was it worth it to pick it up off the ground at the fair?

If you want a safe place for your ride while your at the fair, PM me when your coming and I'll try to hold a spot open. I do charge, between $5 and $10 depending on day and traffic, but it's better than leaving your car out where no one keeps an eye on it.

thats pretty reasonable actually, places over on Hillsboro were getting $15 for Sat and Sun parking, and I'm sure there were watchful eyes on all vehicles.......

I'm too busy parking on the weekends to leave the house to check everybody out, where were they getting $15? I'm on the west side and everyone over here was $10 on Saturday and Sunday.

over near Gate one, along that whole row of business's there were a few signs, $10 parking, $15 Sat and Sun

we were on one of the buses going to the Soccer park on Chatham St. worth every penny to not have to deal with parking way out and traffic in and out.
