By the way, a chainsaw wont be anygood, unless you have someone with you that has their sawyer certificate from the FS.
 
Well Not only is Dec 12 the WEROCK Southeast Regional Championship, but it is also Hanukkah so you might want to rethink the dates.

I won't be going to WEROCK and I think I can forgive those who can't make it because of Hanukkah activities. I'm sure I'm not alone. We've already got a lot of buy-in and there really are no better dates. This weekend is out, way too soon, plus the open invite and the flats is going on. Dec 5th weekend is also packed with activities and it's a little too soon. I think the 12th/13th is about the best we're gonna get. Hope to see you there!
 
Don't know if I'll be able to make either of them dates. But While I'm out there this weekend the kids and I will do our part.

Waiting until the poll runs out on Sunday. Wanted to give the weekend crowd a chance as well. It's a really close tie right now so it may be a two day event.
 
Great news! Rob has cleared us to use the NC4x4.com name for this event! If you've got some photoshop'n skillz please do draft up some fliers for us. As I said before, I'll foot the bill to have these printed off on something sturdy enough to affix to our rigs.
 
Get up with Janet Becker at the arrowhead campground. She now keeps tools,trash bags, and trail markers for clubs and volunteers to check out and use on the trails.
We (core) did our adopted trail dutch john back in October. We picked up trash, trimmed back branches, put up more orange diamonds and cleaned out some water breaks. She also has the sign up sheets to document the people and hours worked.
 
I'll be in tennesee that weekend but I'll provide the trash bags, just need to get them to somebody if it helps.
 
I wanna see a pic of all the volunteers in front of the trash mountain! lol That's a Kodak moment.
 
I voted for Saturday but I'll be available for both days. Let me know what you need me to bring. I'm in and I'd like to meet some of the great folks on this board. :beer:

I cannot make either of these but we will be wheeling this weekend. I think I'll make my 11 year old twins walk the trails with a garbage bag! LOL! :driver:
 
If we even have ONLY those that voted for the day we'll have a SUPER turnout! My club meeting, CTB is at The Outpost at 9a.m. When/Where is the cleanup rendevous?
