see how many he has. if there are alot of them lets make an appointment for a day other than recycle day. i may not have enough trailers to get everything to market that day. i intend to bring two maybe three for that saturday. i hope to fill them all, gonna be interesting. thanks for participating:beer:

it's alil over $12 per hundred pound (.12 lb.) right now at the door. obviously it varies on a weekly basis, especially since the recession hit in '08. i certainly can't guarantee any prices on any material this far in advance of the recycle day. but i can assure you everyone wiil get a fair market price at point of purchase and we will have a great time that day!

I'm moving and want to Contribute but can't keep past Saturday. Can anyone grab my scrap and u can keep the $$.

I live off sweeten creek in Asheville.

I got
Dana 35 housing and carrier
Tj rear bumper
Slip yoke from np239 and drive shaft
A dryer
And misc.

Anybody interested in picking it up?

Hmm, I'll keep this in mind, I have a pretty good scrap pile accumulating right now of random stuff from all my projects.

What about the material from inside a catalytic converter? The one in my little beater truck fell apart inside and clogged the pipe, so I "helped" the rest of it on out for now. Will you accept that material? How much is it going for currently?

Is there any value in titanium? What would it ball park bring in? Ie Titanium exhausts

in my experience, the Ti exhaust isn't 100% Ti. therefore it would be just scrap steel.

yes i can buy loose catalyst material. today's market price is around $10 lb. that could change between now and actual recycle day. i also buy whole converters at competitive prices.

:bounce2::bounce2:Thanks Matt, OK who's bringing their metal to Rides on the 28th? Let's load up Matt for coming so far to get your stuff! This helps him, Brandon, you and keeps it in the 4x4 community at the same time! We'll be there slinging dogs and BBQ with cold drinks! I've got my other best worker with me so work him extra hard! (he's is in training for the Flat's next month! So come and check out Rides and see what they can do for you and your rig!

Question.....i didnt see brass on the metals list(or i missed it). Are you taking scrap brass? Mostly check valves/boiler relief vavles and heat exchangers.
