A co worker of mine is trying to take his wife up to the boone area for his 1st Anniversary. Anyone know of a nice place or have connections with anyone?? Thanks a lot!!!!!!!

Let me know if you find something or know of a nice getaway place for them to saty thats not $1,000,000.00 a night.

not sure of any in Boone, but there are some decent cabins around Beech Mnt ski resort. Probably some of the other resorts too

they have tons of Chalet on the side of mountains that are cheap and nice..

i have stayed there a few times, though it's not in boone. it is a very quiet, relaxing, and enjoyable atmosphere though. it's near cherokee in..... forget the city... very nice though, lots of pics on the website too.

Not gonna help here - but if you an alumni, you can stay at the Broyhill Inn really cheap, like $40 or something.
I tried to convince 'em to apply 2x the discount since wife and I are both alumns... but it didn't fly...
