Looking for some trailer axles, might buy or borrow. I have a YJ I need to go get, it has no alxes under it, but it does have springs. I thought I could strap a couple trailer axles under it so I could roll it(pull) it up on my hauler.
Would need axles and some rollers unless they are 6 lug in which case I have the tires/wheels
Anyone close?
 
Some 2x6 lumber & pieces of pipe would work. Just a thought if you can't find the axles.
 
What is the YJ sitting on? Pavement, wet grass, dirt, mud? You can move alot on just some lumber and some pipe like Jeff B stated, quite easily. We just moved a 12x24 utility building about 100 ft last week like that. Moving dollies with decent wheels would work good if it is hard packed around the jeep.
 
Not sure what it's sitting on now. What ever I use has to be able to roll or slide up my ramps and then on the deck
 
Did that a few weeks ago with a wheel-less Jeep...used boards as skids, and pulled it right on/off the trailer.

Helps having a winch on the trailer. :)
