Never Forget.....

I'm newer to the sport, so give us newbs a short bio. I know the camp at ure was named after him.

I met him for the first time at he Outpost in the fall of 2003 I think it was. It was before I bought my Samurai (spring of 2005). It was a Sunday evening, and we were all getting ready to head home after a weekend of wheeling, but he answered a bunch of questions I had about Samurai's before rolling out. It is hard to believe it has been 5 years.

Here is at the CNC Truck show..

Great Guy

I know it sounds cliche' to say this about the dead, but Art was honestly one of the nicest, most caring, open individuals you could ever hope to meet. He made friends all over this world, and his loss sent waves across the wheeling world. He was also a brilliant builder. His Samurai was ahead of it's time, and has remained almost unchanged since his passing, and still managed to show up the recently upgraded "Bio Zuk" at Kodak Rock once again! He was a great guy, though. One of those people that treated everybody equally. If you ever met him, you left feeling like you had a new best friend. His life as a human and his service to his Country will never be forgotten, and we could all stand to be more like him.

Yep, knew him when i was in, and wheeled with him a few times. Great person and sorely missed. Still remember getting that call from a mutual friend / coworker.
