Picked this up for a great deal, just needs some work. Let's hear the suggestions and smart ass comments! Going to pay for new roof and getting it dried in, then the rest is up to me.

Not as hard as most people think..I did one and when done was super solid..just take your time and take pics so you can put it back together the correct way

I don't know about you, but I'd think about putting a bed in it.

;)

In with the first smartass comment!

Looks like it's going to be an interesting little project. Is the front wall translucent? I thought it was aluminum, but it looks like you can see daylight where the wood is gone. The only real suggestion I've got is insulate, insulate, insulate. Get as much R in the walls as you can, and you'll be much happier in the long run!

Congrats on the first! May install a doubler first though!

The shell is fiberglass so with everything removed you can see thru it. I plugged it in last night and went to step inside and the door shocked me, so there is an obvious short somewhere.

Holes to holes or poles to poles but absolutely no poles to holes!!!! I redid one but didnt go far enough and we fell through the over hang a few years ago.

I'd get motorized outriggers/levelers so you don't have to crank on the Armstrong ones to level it out. Also I'm not sure what they are called but Len(Rox&mud) uses them. Basically large Lego blocks semi-level the truck out.
