We closed on our house today and we have a few small projects planned. Thought I would start this as a way to keep old pics for before and after views and if it helps anyone along the way then that's good also.

Is that carpet around a jacuzzi tub?

Your wife is much better than mine. It would be torn out day 1 at my house, even if it was just painted plywood for some time.
 
This isn't our first live in renovation sometimes you have to put up with something until you get higher priority projects done.

Agreed, but there is alot of logic and rationale in that statement.
 
There all by myself half the day. Wife left after lunch to sleep for work tonight but she was able to get the first coat of paint on the master bedroom walls. I went and picked up ship lap and a bunch of electrical switches and outlets put most of them in and pulled all the cabinet doors off and removed all the old brass hardware.

This morning after work I came and sanded all the cabinets in the kitchen and kids bathroom. Now I'm headed home to sleep before work while my wife and mother in law hopefully get alot of painting done today.
