New Home, New Projects

You having a meeting of folks who can't keep up with a blue Ranger?
Looks like you're expecting a big turnout!

:D

No its a meeting on how to keep including a blue ranger that can't keep up so the driver doesnt feel left out.

What's your plan for the ceiling? Leave as is? Insulate? Insulate & cover?

And exactly what is "fire-resistant plywood" @Jody Treadway ?
It has a layer of foam under the tin now but I may go back and put some insulation between the rafters in the future. I really want to get rid of the beam going from one side to the other so I can put a lift in.

Here ya go. The distribution of FRT treated wood is our family business. So I can probably help ya out a little!

Fire retardant lumber is your regular pine based material, but pressure impregnated with fire retardant chemicals. It is used primarily in commercial construction applications. It will burn, but it takes much longer to do so. When a certain temp is reached, a chemical reaction occurs that encapsulates the wood and limits smoke formation as well.

Little kickback for any sales generated? Lol

With the margins I gave you (out of pity, mind you), I'll treat you to a gum ball of natural selection from the vending machine at the local Golden Corral.
Sounds like a deal to me

Everything taped up ready to paint

Gonna spray it?
Yes actually sprayed 2 gallons today but after cleaning the gun I forgot to take a picture before coming into work tonight. I have 2 more gallons and that should cover it.

What kind of epoxy coating did you use? The garage transformation is looking great.
SPGX from armorpoxy.com

It says each gallon covers 300-400 sq ft I bought 2 gallons, but I wish I had at least gotten one more.

Today I got tired of looking for something so I put together an impromptu project. The office/storage room was a huge mess so I went to lowes and got some materials. Made a large low shelf to help sort some things, so now it's only a medium sized mess. Whole project cost $46.

Sorry if I missed something, are you moving again?
Yes the divorce was final in Oct 2020 and I'm selling the house and living in a camper while I start over and build the large shop i have always wanted, with a living area either connected or close by.

Final day, one last picture in their empty rooms, posing in front of the fire place and locking up.

Signed the papers this morning, no longer a homeowner for now.
