newbie

hey, im new here and i can't post in any other thread. I really wanted to post in the tires and wheels. i saw some awsome 32x11.50r15's BFG mud terrains. I have a 93 yj with a 3.5 inch lift. i would preferable like to get 33's but in the economy my budget is not as plentiful as it used to be. so how can i reply to that thread?

Hey guys--just came on board. Nice to meet everyone, I'm from the metropolis of Ansonville NC. I've got a 97 Jeep TJ, bone stock for now except for a nice set of Federal Couragia M/Ts. Currently in the works are a Warn m8000 & an Aussie Locker for my front D35.

Welcome. You mean rear D35. Front's a D30.

Hi All,
New to the site. I'm really happy to find a local 4x4 site! I'll be improving the 1984 CJ with new floor boards, carb, seats, wiring harness....etc... so I'll likely ask lots of questions! Be patient, I admit that unlike many of you, I have ZERO mechanical skills!
Thanks!

NEW TO NC4X4

HEY! I'M JASON AND NEW TO THE FORUM. I'VE HEARD A LOT OF GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS PLACE AND WANTED TO JOIN. I HAVE A '72 BLAZER THAT HAS BEEN IN THE FAMILY SINCE '74. MY DAD BOUGHT IT USED AND I GOT IT WHEN I TURNED 16. (OF COARSE) I'M TRYING TO RESTORE IT BUT HAVE LITTLE TIME SINCE I WORK 10-14HRS A DAY. I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO WHEELING IT AGAIN SINCE ITS BEEN PROBABLY 10 YRS SINCE THE LAST TIME. IT IS LIFTED 4" WITH A 3" BODY LIFT SITTING ON 36'S. 456 GEARS FRONT AND REAR WITH LOCKERS IN THE FRONT AND LIMITED SLIP IN THE REAR. ASIDE FROM THAT AND MINOR MOTOR UPGRADES THE REST IS STOCK. THAT'S ALL FOR NOW. HOPE TO HEAR FROM SOME OF YA!

Newbie to NC

Hey all I am new to the NC scene I live in Indian Trail. I am looking to hookup with a group in the Charlotte area for some runs to uhwarrie or tellico.

About me I'm 32 I work offshore in the oil industry. I am a Senior ROV supervisor. Basically we use remote control subs to perform construction tasks underwater.

I am gone for work an average 8 months a year which sucks but the pay is worth it and it's a stable job market.

I should have my rig on location in a couple of weeks and will be looking to get it dirty.

Howdy From Lexington

My name is Rob. I joined a bit ago at the suggestion of another member (Dennis Pakula) who was selling some Jeep parts. I have owned 4 Jeeps so far in my life. '84 Jeep Cherokee Laredo, '06 Wrangler Unlimited, '90 Cherokee and a '93 Grand Cherokee Laredo. Every time I get rid of one, I end up looking for another one to replace it. Nothing else feels right to drive I guess.

I've used them mainly to go simple 'mudding' with, but hope to one day build a 'bogger.' I'm in between jobs right now, but I specialize in sales and legal paperwork. I've got 3 sons and my oldest (6) is already showing symptoms of the same 'Jeep' disease that I have. Not only does he insist that he get mine from me one day, he also can't even stand to get a new bike without having me change the tires, rims, seat and paint on it (this last one was a camouflage paint job). I have created a monster I think.

I'm looking forward to using this site as a tool for advice on some repairs i have on my two recent Jeep acquisitions, so I hope that this is everything it was cracked up to be.

Hello again:

Well I'm not really new but I guess in my absence my account got removed so I had to make a new one. I have another post in the Misc. FS section that I need to add some pictures in but I do not know how to do that. If someone could please inform me how to do that it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, i'm new here from Morganton. I have a 86 F150 with a 351M/400, 4 speed granny trans (anyone know what it may be?) and a 9" rear. In a couple months (when I turn 21) i'll have a lot of suspension tech questions! Looking to SAS the front and do some work to the rear.

Glad to join everyone!

Just thought I would tell everyone HELLO! This Last Weekend was awesome with alot of you! I live in Clayton NC and I am looking for a new rig to mess with. Used to have a Chevy K5 Blazer. But open to anything!

2000 cherokee sport need help

i'm new to the site and ive got a 2000 cherokee sport and i need some info. Ive got a 3.5 inch rubicon express lift and that is it as far as suspension. I am going to do a 2.25 inch budget lift on top of my 3.5 and i need to know what is completely necessary for me to do besides new break lines. i need to know if it is completely necessary for a slip yoke? new shocks? drop pitman? anything? i do not 4 wheel that often and this jeep is mainly kept on the road because i dont really have much time and this jeep is my daily driver, but sometimes i get around to it. if someone could let me know the necessities for this extra 2.25 i would greatly appreciate it.
Thankssss. :huggy:
