Noobie Alert!!!
Just finished registration to this great site and thought I would introduce myself. I bought my wife a 1990 Jeep YJ for Valentines Day this year. And since then have decided to go just a little deeper into the mud. I think I did pretty well for $1600, even if thats not the end! I hope to get rid of the emission crap and update the carb ASAP. But other than that I will probably need the expertise of others thus the reason for this post.

I am a carpenter by trade and have developed any mechanical skill I have out of needing to get to work on time over the years. I am alot more comfortable on a ladder than under a hood. Having said that I also have a 1976 MG Midget that has won a few local car show awards.

I hope I don`t try anyone`s patience with what would seem obvious questions. And thanks in advance for the help!!

David

Finally joined..

I have been reading for awhile and decided to join in. I have a 98 Wrangler Sport. Pretty much still stock. I do have a 2.5 suspension lift and 32x11.5 M/T. Finally got some JKS quicker discos. But with 2 college tuitions starting last month I have settled here for a while. Looking forward to getting back to URE this summer. Got my feet wet last fall and haven't been able to work out time to go this spring/summer. Hopefully that is about to change:driver:

I just completed registration and paying the donation/membership fee. My name is John Brooks and I am a member of the Big Dixie Boggers. My rig is a '89 Toyota Ext cab p/u w/ SAS, 5.29's, dual cases, front ARB, rear detroit, EXO, 36" Iroks on 15x10 aluminum Trail Ready's and wheel base shortened to 112". How do you get permission to view the "garage" ;)area?
