New Member Check In - Post HERE <------------------

Hello, I've lurked for years and figured it was about time I chime in occasionally.

I own a WJ sitting on Rubicon's. I just picked up an XJ to mess with. (I'll be in the market for some basic lift parts, etc.)

Welcome to the (somewhat dysfunctional) family!

How do u get a display pic up here to show my rig!!!
My name is brandon and im 23 and built my first rig!!
Welcome Brandon, the easiest way to post pictures to any forum is to open a photobucket account(free), host the pictures there. Then copy the direct link of the picture you want to host, open the picture box in the tool bar then paste the link into that box.

Photobucket

Actually, you can upload photos directly to the forum. When you post, the second button on the lower right says "upload a file".

Mr.Green, checking in. I have had several rigs but currently have a 1999 TJ that is a build in progress. I just moved to NC from Mi and will be looking for some new wheeling friends soon. I like rope swings, tater tots and cold beers.

New here from Gastonia. I recently bought a 99 XJ and just getting into the off roading scene.

Here is the Jeep and the previous owner did all the work. Look forward to learning a lot and having some fun in the mud!

Hello from Asheboro I am looking for others in this area to go wheeling with. I moved here from WV a little over a year ago and don't know anyone so I figured I join and check it out. As a side note I will be heading out to Uwharrie this weekend if anyone wants to get together for a meet & greet

Welcome. Good looking 2 door!

Thanks I got it around January and went right to work.. This weekend will be its first time out. I have had others but this is my first Cherokee. below is what it looked like when I got it.View attachment 70414

I love XJs. I've had a couple, I got a TJ so I have my last XJ to my best friend and got him started in this addictive hobby. I go to Uwharrie quite often but I think I will be heading to the flats this weekend.

Im really liking this XJ. Im thinking of getting a 4DR also. I chose Uwharrie because its close for the first time out for this XJ and I haven't been there in a real long time..

If you haven't been in a while then you will be shocked by some of the changes. There is a lot more guard rail and gravel filled places. It sucks in a way but very vital to keep it open. Too many people driving off the trails and not keeping Tread Lightly in mind. If you want to meet more people from the older, very involved, responsible crowd, come out to a work day some time. It's always a lot of fun and we are very important to keeping the trails open and in good shape. We always welcome new comers!

Its been so long ago I wouldn't remember any of it. But iv been watching them close areas in WV/PA and OH for years now because of the idiots. Can you still camp along the trails? That was my plan for Saturday night. If I remember correctly we just got off the trail and set up a tent last time I was there.
When are the work days?
