He didnt hit the tie rod. his passenger tire hit the tree dead on and bounced him back. Still impressive that nothing broke...

I will say that I would never let Wes ( guy driving Essentailly rig ) ever drive my rigs.. after watching him at windrock and this he sure drives that rig as if it were a rental.. oh wait it is
